A jury has found a British Nazi sympathizer guilty of preparing for terrorist acts.

Police say they found four homemade nail bombs, weapons with blades, along with bullets and material about terrorism when they raided Martyn Gilleard's flat in Goole, in northern England, in November.

The jury in Leeds Crown Court deliberated two-and-a-half hours Tuesday before finding Gilleard guilty of engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts and collecting information for terrorist purposes.

The 31-year-old defendant previously pleaded guilty to possessing 34 cartridges of ammunition without holding a firearms certificate, and to 10 counts of possession of indecent photographs of children.

He will be sentenced Wednesday.
